Why does this happen to me...

For some reason, whenever I apply my powder over my foundation, it turns ORANGE. I have normal / dry skin and this continuously happens to me, regardless of how light of a foundation / powder I buy. I have tried the lightest powders I could possibly find, I've tried colorless powders, SUPER light foundations...what could it be? Should I just be skipping the powder altogether since I'm not oily?
I've tried using less powder, more powder, different ways to apply it, always looks orange! I can't stand it. I look fine until the powder touches my face and then I look awful. :(
thanks in advance beauties <3

Have you tried a setting spray? I prefer them bc my skin looks better without the powdery effect. I've heard RCMA no color powder is great, it might work for you.

Even colorless powder turns orange on you? That's really odd... Hmm. Maybe the powders don't agree with the ph balance of your skin. Do you dab off the excess foundation after putting it on?

Like pat your face with a tissue or something so the excess foundation and oils could be removed

I use a large stippling brush from e.l.f to blend my bronzer , blush and powder together and it comes off orange too but after my face doesn't look orange...

It sounds really odd /: I would try not using powder for a while and use setting spray instead unless it's your foundation that's the problem it could be.
