I have an interview tomorrow!
I know that wearing leggings is unprofessional for an interview but would they be okay if they were under a dress?
It's supposed to be about 26 degrees out tomorrow so I want to make sure I'm warm but still professional.
The only other option I have are capri style dress pants.

Congratulations on the interview! What's it for?

I googled "leggings under a dress" and a lot of the pics look professional enough for an interview. Especially the ones with boots. Do you have any mid-calf boots?

Alexis C.
Nicola, I didn't even think about taking them off at the interview! Thank you!
Sam, it's for Burlington Coat Factory. I don't have mid-calf boots and I don't find boots to be professional anyways, in my opinion.

Oh, I was talking heeled boots. But taking them off is a good option. Good luck!

Leggings work some what I think textured tights would look better, and are q bit thicker so they are Warmer than no tights, but yes you can just take them off, just make sure there is no thick seam down the sides tht could leave indents up your legs that would be visible haha. Good luck!

I think leggings would be fine, but you could wear thick tights instead, maybe it would look a tad better. good luck!

Thank you girls, but unfortunately I don't have thick tights. I think I'll just take the leggings off once I get there (:

I can't wear dresses without tights, but I feel like if you do it right it can look even more professional

No. Absolutely unprofessional. Wear slacks and a professional top. Don't have bare legs either. Buy thick tights---if you want the job then buying new tights will be worth it.

Sorry, Stephanie, but I had already gone to the interview a few days before you responded. I just wore the dress with bare legs, no one really cared.
