Everyone's skin does react different but lemon is still extremely harsh & shouldn't be put on the skin as alexis said.

I 100% agree with Alexis. Don't let anyone tell you that it's okay to use lemon or baking soda, it's way too harsh for skin.

PLEASE DO NOT USE LEMON.
Lemon throws off the skin's pH balance and damages healthy skin. Also make sure to spot test honey before putting it all over your face, you can still have a reaction to it without being allergic to it.
Honestly, I would just stay away from DIYs all together and stick to proper skincare products.

I started using the la-roshe possay effaclar duo+ it's a moisturiser.. It takes a few weeks for you to see improvements but it does work. I have seen a good amount of fading for my red acne marks.. Also there is a diy face mask that you can try its a honey sugar and lemon face mask! Just add a teaspoon of sugar squeeze some lemon in there and add about half a teaspoon of honey and apply it to your face and let it sit there for a hour. Do this 1-2 a week. The lemon helps fade marks while the sugar exfoliates your skin helping new skin to repair itself while the honey moisturises your face. Just remember that it takes time to see improvement nothing is ever over night.. Hope this helped :)

Use a dark spot corrector and/or vitamin C serum. Also make sure to exfoliate and use SPF so they don't get darker (:
