So I'm going to Florida in June for my birthday and I have no clue what to take with me in terms of makeup or any beauty essentials since I know its going to be super hot around that time. Can anybody help me or give me suggestions on what I should bring; sweatproof makeup is highly requested! Thanks!

I'm actually on the hunt for a sweat proof foundation/summer foundation as well. For suggestions, Water proof everything lol Mascara, eyeliner etc. Also a powder and a setting spray to help keep your makeup in place!

I agree with waterproof everything - also less is more - it will be hot and humid in Florida - much like TN (where I'm at) and I use a bb cream with SPF all over (I don't even bother with foundation cause it will just come off by midday unless it's MUFE mat velvet) then use MUFE full cover waterproof concealer in areas I need it - then fill in my brows & seal them with waterproof gel, then use waterproof mascara and sometimes waterproof eyeliner - and some cream blush, a pop of color on my lips with a balm stain - set everything with translucent setting powder and spray with setting spray - that tends to last me all day long - for bb cream I use tarte - if I use the MUFE foundation I use hourglass primer - but then don't use concealer because the foundation is heavy enough for me personally - and for setting powder I use Tarte smooth operator - for setting spray I like model in a bottle and skindinavia matte.

I live in Florida and I find that the humidity combined with sweating makes wearing foundation pointless. I just stick with BB cream and concealer where I need more coverage. Aside from that my go toos are shadow insurance primer with Maybelline crease proof shadows, and waterproof mascaras. I also suggest headbands and hair ties. My hair gets frizzy with the humidity, plus the extra heat on your neck is super unpleasant.

Make sure you take a foundation with a good SPF! I took my no7 stay perfect foundation on holiday to Spain with me it got to 30 degrees Celsius and it stay on all day and didn't melt off my faces even when I was sweating!

I live in Florida as well and since you are coming down in the dead heat of June...don't even bother with foundation. I swear the humidity is so intense that you when you walk out from your hotel to the car you will want to go back in and take a shower. As Livesay mentioned...BB cream is going to be your best friend and then just lightly set it and spray Urban Decay Setting Spray to lock it in. At night its humid and buggy so if mosquitos and gnats love you back home they will love you even more down here. Bounce fabric softener (the cloth version) rubbed over your clothing, skin and hair is a deterrent and the bugs hate it and will avoid you like the plague. Its what I use instead of bug spray when I'm kayaking or walking the nature preserves in my area.
