Would you recommend it?
I've got a 50's theme surprise party tomorrow and I have been practicing my winged liner (using liquid) but CANNOT for the life of me get it! I've read using scotch tape has been helpful. I intend on using that when doing the wing but I've never used gel liner before.
I don't ever wear eyeliner because I'm not very patient and tend to ruin my eye makeup because of it lol. BUT, because of the theme I really want to go all out with my makeup (neutral eye, winged liner and a red lip).
What are some drug store gel liners (if any) you'd recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I totally recommend it.
that's what I started with, I use to use Maybelline but that smudged way too much.
I really recommend the Loreal gel liner it is perfect.

Also be sure to go as close to your lash line as possible and use short strokes.
make sure your hand is well rested on something and your whole body is comfortable and not moving.

Gel liner is the best type in my opinion. I actually started out using pencils which is alright if you have the right one, but gel is the most pigmented and the easiest to apply in my opinion. I haven't really found a drugstore one that doesn't smudge on me yet, but I'm open to any suggestions!

I find gel easier to work with then luquid, I'd recommended cliniques gel liner, the brush it comes with is perfect because of how tiny it is ☺

I like the Rimmel gel liner, doesn't smudge at all, I even use it in my waterline lol

Loreal gel liner is amazing. I ditched my liquid for it. I think the application with loreal gel liner makes it easier because I tried another one and it was a mess. It's formulation is great!

Just a quick tip- I use my gel liner by Mac with one of those new bent eyeliner brushes (I really like it) and then once I have it placed sometimes I'll go over it with my liquid liner if I want a shiny finish. Gel is definitely so much easier!

Thanks girls. Unfortunately I lost my patience haha! I lined my eyes but I could not perfect a wing so I gave up for the sake of time. However I'm pretty happy with my look.
