Hi Ladies,
I recently purchased this pretty cool palette since I want to begin contouring my face. Its powder and the reason why I chose this one was because I was a bit iffy about the Anastasia Contour Cream Kit since I'm just begining. Any tips, tricks, or photos on using it are appreciated. Most of all, your opinions on it if you have it of course! I'm curious.

I don't have that palette but I have 2 of Anastasias. Make sure you apply a little and add gradually if you need to but always BLEND!! :) that's the most important tip in creating a natural contour!! You don't want to have any harsh lines. Also the way to contour your face depends a lot on your face shape since contouring is emphasizing/creating the shadows on your face making those parts recede while highlighting will make them stand out. For contour brushes I like MAC 168 angled brush, Real techniques contouring brush, and Sigma F05 small contour brush. When applying the contour stick to the outside of your face, as in don't apply too close to the center of your face. Don't let the contour reach your mouth or nose... :) I hope it made sense! :) it takes practice!

I really do like them. They are super blendable. But honestly the highlight powders I don't really like much. They seem too cakey or chalky on me. And some of the contour shades can be a little too warm. Just have to find the right shade.
