Hello! I just read something online saying that if you put coconut oil on your hair a day before bleaching your hair it will protect your air from most of the damage? do you leave it in while you bleach, or wash it out before? I thought you were supposed to wash your hair before bleaching and dying it because the oils wouldn't allow the chemicals/color get into your hair. Just curious, I don't plan on bleaching my hair.

Coconut oil hair masks help with damage. Doing them before and after bleaching helps with the damage done from bleaching.

You aren't supposed to wash your hair prior to bleaching, better off leaving hair dirty.
