Its feeling greasy after you straighten it...either you didn't completely remove any shampoo or conditioner before starting in on your hair or you are applying too much heat protectant on your hair.

I agree with Shelley, that issue only happens to me when I don't wash it well, especially if I did a hot oil treatment before hand.

Or if you don't leave your flat iron, there is oil build up on those as well
