A minute 30 is a really long time...unless your using a low heat and your hair is really thick. I stil wouldnt recommend you use heat on your hair fr longer than a minute though :/ And for natural curls do 15-30 seconds.

Either way, it's still way too long to have heat on your hair, I'm surprised your hair isn't fried off. I would definitely invest in a better curling wand.

I am with Shanae J. - invest in a better curling iron. I use a G3 Salon Pro which one do you have? My hair is straight Asian hair and I only need hold it for a max of 20 secs.
