Once a week or so, I'll pour a small mouthful of hydrogen peroxide into my mouth and use my toothbrush to gently brush my teeth and tongue with the peroxide :) it really whitens teeth over time and I've noticed no sensitivity!

The banana peel won't work.
peroxide will work over time.
lemon and baking soda will damage the enamel so if you do that don't do it often.
I'd suggest doing it professionally if you can or maybe try the whitnening strips

I actually mix baking soda and peroxide and swish it around my mouth. It will bubble up so start with a little amount. Then I take turmeric powder on my palm and scoop it up with a wet toothbrush. It stains your skin and clothes yellow so be careful but it is known for actually doing the opposite for teeth as it whitens. My teeth are already white at the moment from doing this consistently but I still do it about 4 times a week to maintain them.

I'm going to school to be a dental assistant - DO NOT use baking soda!! You will lose the enamel off your teeth and end up with tons of cavities.
