Hey!
I used to have pretty bad acne and I had so many pimples, but I'm left with a lot of redness and scaring.
Does anyone have any tips or products that can help fade scars and reduce redness?
Thanks so much x

AHA's and retinols are my HG's when it comes to acne scarring. I had one lone cystic about a month ago and it left a small scar. Rotating between my retinol cream and AHA based nightcream...the scar has lightened up and is faint. Probably in about another month it will be non-existent. Whichever product you go with daytime spf of at least 30+ is a must or else you're just wasting time and money because sun exposure will just darken the scars further since the products used to fade acne scarring make the skin sensitive to photoaging.

Hi Shelley... Any recommendations on a cream. I really need something like this , but I don't want to spend too much $$ 😳

@Desiree...Mario Badsecu has an AHA lotion that is pretty nice. I have it in my stash and rotate it with my holy grail cream. I know that ULTA is offering a % off the line in its 21 day event. I can't remember how much I paid for it...I want to say I snagged it for $25 bucks.

Paula's choice. Vitamin c, aha or BHA and sunscreen is a must! If you can tolerate it, retinol is great, but if you're young you can skip it and get the best benefits with the above products. I am scar prone and have hypo pigmentation- white not dark, and this combo is essential for me.
