Hey I have really dry skin on my face that is now peeling and I was wondering if any of you have any at home stuff to get rid of the skin and hydrate? Thanks!

I honestly don't like DIYs, so if it's really that horrible, try First Aid Beauty's Overnight Hydrating Mask. It's absolutely perfect for hydrating extremely dry skin. I'd do this after exfoliation, though, for which I use my Clarisonic. Aside from the Clarisonic, try a manual exfoliant like a Konjac sponge.

I completely agree with Hannah. When it comes to your skin, you never wanna experiment with diy's, they can just be too risky, and honestly there are products available that aren't even too expensive that help more than the diy's out there. A lot of people will recommend to use coconut oil but it really just clogs your pores, its not necessarily horrible (I mean I used it for 2 years before I realized it didn't help, it just makes your skin feel more moisturized but its really just sitting on the outside of your skin and not really sinking down in the skin to moisturize) for your skin. First Aid Beauty is pretty good but CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream is what I use everyday and has helped the most. I also recommend Clarisonic, it is expensive but has tremendously improved my dry/sensitive skin. I've had mine for 3 years and will always have one, I wished I would have caved in sooner and bought one before. Just make sure you buy the right brush head for your skin and use consistently (you can't complain when you don't use it everyday, its not going to work; I use my every single night after removing makeup first, and I have only ever not used it 2 times ever and my skin looked horrible! So I never forget now!

Also be careful not to exfoliate too much! Because that will just end up making the peeling worse. For the peeling right now I would use Aquaphor and Neosporin. When my skin starts peeling I'll do that and cover it will a band aid at night.
