What is the best way to apply a face primer?

on myself I use my hands, on a client my hands or a brush

I put a pee size amount on my hand and dot it on my t-zone area and rub it in with my hands.

I like it use my hands as well, I start from the inside of my face since usually that's what needs the most correcting. I then smooth it out from my nose to my forehead and cheeks. :)
