Primer suggestions for tarte foundation.

Hey beauties I'm looking to buy the tarte 12 hour Amazonian clay foundation - but not sure what face primer I should use with it - normally when I wear my MUFE mat velvet I usually wear the hourglass primer but not sure how it will work with the tarte foundation - or maybe primer is not necessary? Since it supposedly lasts 12 hours.., I wonder if that's without primer... Anyways any suggestions or tips on using this foundation in general would be great! Thanks!

Maybe try one of the primers Tarte makes? They have one in a purple tube that is silicone based and helps blur pores and fine lines. They also have a silicone free one that is moisturizing and is supposed to help with brightening. I believe Tarte recommends using a buffing brush with this foundation (they made a brush specifically for this foundation).

I like Dr Jart Pore Medic primer and Laura Mercer Spackle. I've used both under that foundation and they work well.
