For sure blotting sheets. Do you use foundation and powder on your face? If so, what kind do you use?

Mattifying primer, some blotting powder (I prefer loose, but pressed is nice too), and blotting sheets!

I just started using oil to moisturize my face. I use Boscia beauty Oil in the pink bottle. It has made my makeup last much longer than I have ever noticed it lasting before. I also use cover fx mattifying primer as my last step of my skin care at night and I prime my face with it in the morning. Obviously set makeup with translucent powder and I keep blotting sheets with me!

Face oil has been my saving grace (and a good skin care routine). I use a clarisonic at night and tartes Maracuja oil for moisturizer. I even use it in the morning too. a foundation that helps keep oil away helps. I really like stila's stay all day foundation. I never get oily with it on. a good setting powder, and blotting sheets.

This is going to sound odd, but MOISTURIZE!! Your skin could be over-compensating for the lack of moisture it's getting by creating more oil. Look into a good light-weight oil free moisturizer. (It's best to moisturize at night bc that's when the skin resets itself and needs moisture most. Skin can absorb up to 2 Tbsp. of moisture while you're sleeping meaning anything on your face will get sucked up. So if you moisturize at night, your skin won't have to product oil through the day.)
Also, it's good to exfoliate once to twice a week. I'd look for a glycolic based face wash to use once to twice a week to help naturally slough off dead skin and eliminate any oily buildup that might be left over from the day. Also, oil blotting sheets are a good investment BUT if you get your skincare routine down you won't be needing them as much.
Products I recommend:
Olay Complete Daily Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin (SPF 30) They have 15 as well if you're REALLY Sensitive/Acne Prone
Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream
Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion (for a scrub)
Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser
Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

Really the best thing you could possibly do for oily skin is to stop using harsh, drying or irritating products. It might make you feel oil-free short term but all you'll do is aggravate and damage it. The products you use shouldn't sting, tingle or leave your face feeling tight. Being gentle can make a huge difference, along with a light moisturizer, some powder and blotting papers.

Please don't use milk of magnesia as Berkeley suggested ^^ yes it does work but it's actually clogging your pores and not letting your skin breath and also it wrecks the skin PH's balance so please do your research before using it!

Yes do not use milk of magnesia on your face. If it's not meant to go on your face then don't put it there. If you read some articles online you will see why it's horrible to use on your face. The ph of your face should be around 4-6. Milk of Magnesia has a ph of about 11 which is extremely bad for your skin.
Anyway, try out jojoba oil for your face. It doesn't clog pores and it helps your skin to stop over producing oils so over time your face will become less oily. Following a skincare routine that involves cleansing, toning, and moisturizing will help your skin become less oily. Also moisturizing your face actually helps you become less oily. Check out light moisturizers such as The Body Shop's Aloe Vera Night Cream and Avene Moisturizers. In your bag carry some blotting sheets and a setting powder.

If you check my question in the Beauty section on silicone primers Jaqueline suggested an awesome mattifying cream that I immediately purchased. She had great things to say about it and she is a professional. The link is her post on that thread - I would definitely check it out.
