You'll want to get a silky scrunchie for sleeping with your hair loosely up. If you sleep with them down you risk tangles. Shampoo top your scalp. Unless your hair is actually dirty, your extensions should be fine solely with the shampoo run-off from your scalp. If you need a toning shampoo...then you'll want to shampoo ends. (This is largely for blondes.) Don't wash hair every day, use sulfate free shampoo, pick up some Aussie 3 minute miracle, It's a 10 leave - in conditioning spray, a great heat protectant, dry shampoo, a Wet Brus and a wide toothed comb. Always gently pat hair dry with a towel. Using a bit of anti-frizz serum will make a huge difference. When using oils or conditioners, avoid your rings to help reduce slipping. Be very gentle brushing...combing top..then holding length in sections while brushing. Since oil from the scalp doesn't transfer down the extended shaft, curls hold longer and hair needs less washing. You should find yourself needing to style it less daily. When blow drying...be gentle and dry 3/4 of the way rather than fully which often cuts down on damage and static. If you use a flat iron..heat protectant and not exceeding medium temperatures will help extended the life of your hair. They will need to be pushed up approximately every six weeks. Good luck!!

You are going to love how little you have to style them since you are already a 5 day wash gal. It really comes down to the quality of hair that dictates ease and endurance. Keep a small zip lock bag in your purse as you'll occasionally lose one or two now and again. That's normal so don't panic. When you get them pushed up, they'll just pop back in any you've lost. Some people struggle with the microbead when they are first installed/pushed up because the scalp can be sore, but that fades in a day or two. The only downside is learning to wear styles up without rings showing. Bandana is a killer way to do that. With the proper ring color, you won't see them at all when hair is down. Hope you post pics!!
