So I have really dry frizzy hair. But lately with the right products and flat ironing my hair has become much more manageable and healthier. And I was interested in getting highlights but I was thinking will they make my hair drier or frizzer?

They'll definitely make your hair a bit drier. But if you're going to do it with bleach, I would recommend staying away from flat irons, curling irons and thing of the sort as it will fry your hair easily. You'd have to use a lot of conditioner, but you can make it work to where it won't dry up, fry and get frizzy. Moisture is key :)

I find that when I get highlights, my temporarily gets drier. The texture feels almost crunchy, but it's not anything you cannot fix. I always use a coconut oil mask and Argan oil. When using any type of heat, be sure to use a heat protectant. Tresseme makes a good affordable one :)

I got highlights and I haven't seen any difference in my hair at all. It's not dryer not frizzier. Nothing just look lighter. I didn't get it much lighter just a few nuances. It might look very light at first but after washing it the first time it'll look much better and less noticable. Btw my hair was quite dry before so I used argan oil.
