Drugstore liquid liners have come leaps and bounds over the last year or so. It depends what you like really. Do you like a felt tip, brush, marker? My favorites are the L'oreal Lineur Intense, Maybelline Lash Stiletto, Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner, and the Almay Intense Liquid Liner. All of these work really well and are worth the money.

Essence liquid ink eyeliner! It's only $4 and its really black. Only thing is that you need to wipe the applicator quite good, otherwise you'll get a rather think line..

Well I used to use pencil liner for my top lid but I bought liquid liner from Dallas general and surprising for only a $1 it works better than any other liquid liner I have tried its called LA Colors and it is fabulous.
