How to go from brassy to ashy?

My hair has a very red undertone and is very golish. I really want to make it an ashy mousey colour but I'm not 100% sure how I can do that. Probably need to add some bleached streaks then so a dark ash blonde?

Put a toner it and also get a purple shampoo that help the brashness n help it not fade.

I agree. A toner is a must for me. My favorite purple shampoo is Pravana Light. I apply the shampoo to dry hair and leave on for a few minutes sometimes.

I've been using purple shampoo for six months and it does nothing but bring out a brighter blonde. it doesn't tone out the brassyness from then brown.
