Many of you were not here when this site was new and you didn't see all the chaos from before and because of that chaos a lot has changed for the better trust me lol these things that are mentioned here are concerns that the team will look into and with a growing site comes growing pains but in time will be better.All around its always something then after that will be something else, it's not perfect but it's striving to be there and to make a friendly enjoyable site for everyone. Have patience and enjoy the site like you all have been.After all you're still here right because the bigger picture is it's not so bad so let's all move on and answer some other threads.:)

To the moderators, I don't post many questions but when I do, I do try to search to see if it's been asked already like Alicia just recommended, but when I do that it starts off like 2 years ago instead of most recent so I have to scroll down through hundreds of posts to get to one recent which if I'm asking about a product is usually what I want, a more recent answer. is there a way to change this and have the most recent posts with my search criteria show up towards the top?

Beautylish always has room to improve, however, you can actually help us with doing so! You see, when threads such as reposts etc.are posted, it pushes others' posts down. This is the main reason we ask that you contribute thoughtfully.

Another way to contribute thoughtfully is being aware of the types of questions that may be currently trending. The more activity a thread has, (this thread is a perfect example), it pushes the thread up and pushes other threads down as well.

The best way for your posts to be answered is to check in with yourself and ask how your question will contribute to the overall community. Make sure it's not the same question that was asked just recently. You can always use the search function to see if a similar has been asked before and often times you might see that a thread right before yours had already been answered. If your question is slightly related, chime in on the thread as the more participation there is in any particular thread, the higher it is on the feed.

Additionally, you can always reach us at help@beautylish.com. If you haven't received an answer, I recommend double checking the email address that you had sent it to as our customer service turnaround time is quite fast. If you are still having problems, don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at alicia@beautylish.com and I'm happy to assist.

Running a site can be difficult for some to understand and it is understandable why you would be frustrated Alexis but feel free to email Beautylish with your thoughts on the matter and feel some comfort that this thread is being seen now and active due to the attention.

I'm really confused how it's considered a repost if none of the former threads are up but okay..
It seems to me instead of worrying about reposting and things being in the wrong category beauty lish should be concerned about the fact several people have said something about their posts not showing up. I'm not trying to have an attitude I'm just saying.
