Hi, guys!! I'm in fashion design and we're having our first fashion show soon! I was assigned to do the makeup for the show. Our theme is all around the world and where I live happens to be very diverse. So, the clothes will definitely have references to their culture and I would love to incorporate subtle influences of it into their makeup. I'll definitely make face charts beforehand, but I would love to know some ideas! We don't know all of the countries we are doing yet, but some of them we know are France, USA, South Korea, Trinidad, Egypt, India, China, Germany, and many more! Thanks guys!! :)

Will they be wearing everyday clothes from their countries or fancier ones?

I have the same theme!! 😄
Anyway for china I wouldn't do anything too fancy
For the USA you can do a more glammed look based off of New York
Egypt you could do some Arabic makeup
France do a natural/glammed look. Mix it

Also look into colors, like in India and Africa then tend to go more towards bold, bright colors

France: Go for an effortless romantic look. I found that they focus a lot on skin so make sure you go for a healthy glow, don't make any of the looks matte. For the eyes go natural with a light color on the lids and then deepen the look with a dark brown shadow instead of eyeliner. Lips, I found that they tend to go a little more bold so a sheerer red would work wonderfully. Try to keep everything else more natural, don't contour and don't use a really dark blush, just use something that gives a natural look.
USA: Keep the face matte, contour a little, use a natural blush color, and highlight. For the eyes do a wing and keep the eye shadow matte and stick to warm browns. Lips, use a shade like Kat Von D Lolita.
Korea: Dewy Skin, Straight Brows, Aegyo Sal (fake bags under the eyes), Puppy Liner (extend the liner down instead of flicking it up) or Cat Liner but use eye shadow, Orange Blush, Gradient lips (conceal the lips and then use a light pink lip tint in the center of the lips, Glitter eye shadow, Also looking at current K-Pop singers and their makeup will give you a good idea of what to do since people tend to "copy" their makeup.
Trinidad: I found that they either go very bold or very natural. For this I would just stick with the no makeup makeup look with glowy skin, minimal eye shadow (if any), and a natural pink lip color.
Egypt: I don't really see any makeup trends for Egypt, it doesn't even seem to be a thing from what I found. But I have a friend who is actually Egyptian and she typically does very heavy makeup. Satin finish for the skin, winged liner, dark purple lips etc. But since that's just her I would stick to a slightly darker eye and just do a nude lip.
India: Tends to be very bold with a lot of focus on the eyes, it also looks like you can play with colors and eyeliner. They even seem to go for bolder lip colors. So when doing the makeup think bold and colorful, just keep the face a little matte and don't focus on the base makeup so much.
China: Keep the look very natural. Dewy skin, slight arched brows, subtle eyeliner, light pink blush, your lips but better lip color. A lot of their makeup trends also come from Korea.
Germany: Very fair skin, natural brows, subtle bronze eye shadow, keep the lip color natural, maybe just use tinted chapstick or a sheer red lipstick. Keep the face makeup very minimal, I probably wouldn't even use blush and don't contour.

I agree with Ashley! Just a suggestion for India,
I have an aunt from India and my parents are from Pakistan so I could help a bit with that one. They usually tend to line their waterline and upper lash line with Kajal, you could also just use some pencil black liner, the skin is usually a dewy finish and emphasis on the bronzer since India is a very sunny area. For eyeshadow is stick with neutrals, golds and coppers and for eyeliner just line some thick winged liner. Lips are usually nude but since most Indians are olive a berry lip could look awesome too!
