Curling your eyelashes

How do you make your eyelashes stay curled after curling them? I just curl them and put mascara and curl them again.

Some people put the eyelash curler in hot water for a couple of seconds then curl it and that seems to work.
my friend does it because she has straight lashes and there pretty hard to stay curled and that's the only that that seems to work for her.

I agree with Les. That's a great way to make your eyelashes stay curled. Though, I've heard that heating your eyelash curler before curling can damage your lashes after a while of going this (like, after a month or so). So, I'm not to sure about it.

Also, use a waterproof mascara if you want your curl to last long. :)

Get a good eyelash curler. Kevyn Aucoin and Billy B are both staple eyelash curlers. $20 for an eyelash curler may seem much, but it fits my eyeshape perfectly and even after removing make up they are still curled. No need for me to waste any time heating things up and curling a bunch of times. If you curl your lashes a lot, I say go for the good stuff!

PLEASE DO NOT HEAT YOUR EYELASH CURLER! One of my friends did it and she was in a hurry and didn't let it cool and stick it in her actual eyeball and burned it and it caused her to be blind in that one eye!

@lauren you have to have patience to heat a eyelash curler.
my friend has been doing it longer than 2 years and nothing has happened to her lashes (:

I just curl them and leave the curler there for 10 sec while I slightly open it and close it 3 times and they come out great.
