So no any of you use "natural" or "safe" makeup/skin/hair products? I've been kind of in a kick lately. I switched out most of my store bought skincare stuff with more natural products and essential oils. I'm not sure how much better it is but I just want more suggests on other natural products I can use beauty wise. Thanks.

I use almost all natural products for my skin care!! I have noticed a big improvement in my skin since. But I think its all very dependent on your skin type what products may work for you. What's your skin like love?

I work for Lush and absolutely love their products! (Even before I started working there haha) they've got skincare, hair care, and cosmetics!

I believe (don't quote me) Bite Beauty makes their lip products with food grade ingredients because we ingest most of the lipstick/gloss that we put on our lips. That's what one of the Sephora ladies told me at least

I use Boscia face wash and sunscreen, they use all natural, organic ingredients with no chemical preservatives. I also use a Konjac sponge for exfoliation, they're made from a natural, biodegradable material.

I've been eyeing more alternative products as well. Some lines worth looking into...

Vapour Beauty, 100% Percent Pure, Acure Organics, Gressa Skin, RMS Beauty.

My biggest issue with alternative beauty is that I like going in and touching the product myself. While I have a Whole Foods with a huge beauty section, when it comes to cosmetics, there is nothing that wow's me and don't get me started on foundation colors for my skintone (good luck). I found that the Gressa line has a few darker shades and I'm about to order their serum foundation I hope and pray that its a nice match.

And the more mainstream natural brands you kinda have to be careful because a lot of them talk the talk but then when you see the ingredients list its nothing but junk.

From my prersonal experience, natural makeup DOES make a huge difference. Although the coverage isnt as rich as some of the more pricey, chemical based formulas, Natural Makeup treats your skin as well as enhances you features at the same time.. that's definitely knocking out two birds with one stone if you ask me.. Plus, having the security of knowing that your doing your skin good by feeding it with natural fruit pigments + antioxodants is way more rewarding in contrast to making it look really good with chemical formulas, but being worried about giving yourself skin cancer or aging in the long run... damage is always an important risk factor.
I really like the amazonian clay stuff and the 100% pure cosmetics
