Oh.. the first prom I went to was masquerade and the second was Gatsby. I wore a simple black dress to the first with a weird masque and I wore another black dress with sparkles to the second. I regret being so basic lol.

My prom's theme was lame and even if it was super cool I probably wouldn't have followed it anyways. I wore this (pictured) and I actually got it from Kohl's! Since you're petite I would definitely suggest a shorter dress like this so it doesn't drown you (:

I don't know, maybe I just have poor judgment, but I went with whatever I wanted regardless of my size. I'm only 5', so technically I probably shouldn't have worn a bigger dress, but I felt like a princess. :p I say whatever you like, go for it.

..Keep in mind this picture was four years ago, so it's a little rough ok lol.

I honestly think a long dress would look reaaally good on you.
I personally wouldn't wear a short dress.
my sister is super short and petite and for her prom she wore a long gold/champagne dress and it looked so amazing!
long dresses on short and petite girls always look the best in my opinion (:

Thanks Les! I loved that dress, never wanted to take it off. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I wish I had another reason to wear it. Maybe I'll reuse it as my wedding dress someday, haha. ;p.
