So I have oily skins and acne and have been looking for my "holy grail" foundation. I've heard a a lot of good reviews about the revlon colorstay foundation (for oily/normal skin) but was wondering if it was similar to the revlon photo ready foundation because I hated that. Do you girls think I would like it?

Or another foundation for oily skin?

Depends. Haha we can't tell you that! I personally didn't like it. Super thick, pretty cakey even with the tiniest amount, and it felt like I was wearing a mask. Not okay for everyday use in my opinion, unless you like that. I think it made me break out as well. It's very matte which I'm personally not a fan of. ALSO, it looks horrible in person and only looked good photographed in my experience haha. I'm just not used to anything that feels like that, I didn't like it. The only good things are is its long lasting. Lol.
I've been thinking of getting it again and trying to use it differently, but I don't know I wanted to love it the first time and couldn't lol.

Agree with Les, I've noticed it's a love it or hate it type of thing.

I know you obviously wouldn't be able to tell me if I would like it or not but I was kinda wondering if it was similar to the photo ready because if it is...I wouldn't get it. I honestly hated everything about that foundation.

I have never tried the revlon photo ready but I am currently using the revlon colorstay and I like it. I find however that I have to apply a very small amount or it will look cakey.

The photo ready was one of my first foundations lol! Thank god I know what foundation is SUPPOSED to look like now ;) I actually quite like the color stay when applied with a damp sponge.

I mix it in with my rimmel 25 hr nude foundation and I love it:) don't like wearing colorstay by itself tho :/
