I've had moderate acne for many years. It has cleared up considerably over the past year, however, I'm now left with pesky scars (not severe, fortunately, just a few scattered on my cheeks and temples). I'm sick of trying to heal them, so I've decided to stop being so lazy with makeup and try covering them. My skintone overall is pretty uneven, so I'd like to cover my entire face, not just conceal the scarring.
Anywho, I'm looking for advice on what brand/type would be best for me. I need something light that WILL NOT clog my pores!
I'm looking to learn not just about foundation, but concealer, bronzer, blush, etc.
Please tell me, what's YOUR foundation/skin routine?
Thanks for reading. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

I have bad acne and scarring and I use maybelline matte mousse foundation. It's all I need to cover it all up. On super bad days ill add concealer and loose powder

Can I find that in stores or online only? What brand of powder do you use?

I also have acne and a dry T zone so I'm pretty sensitive to a lot of things. If your skin is normal to oily, I would try a dry or powder powder foundation like neutrogena, bare minerals or clinique. These brands have lightweight foundations and some are specified for acne prone skin. Clinique also has an online tool to help you choose the type of coverage for your skin type, which you can print and take in store to at clinique counter and they'll help you choose a color. Remember to ALWAYS wash your face at the end of the day or acne can get worse. Hope this helps you in your journey!

I'm not going to recommend a foundation but I also have some acne scarring and I find that buffing the foundation in gives me a smoother coverage.
