It looks unfinished honestly, maybe some eyeliner or mascara would help and if you blended it out a little more unless you were going for that kind of look.

It looks like it needs something else. I would work on shadow placement and blending, but it's not awful for a first try.

If you like it sharp, maybe try making it darker on the edges with black or brown cream liner, otherwise blend it into the crease. I'd also add some darker color near the lashline (and obviously mascara, but you were just trying the eyeshadow I suppose).
I wish I did my eyeshadow like this my first time! (My first try it was probably horrible)

Wow, great job! I love the colors you've selected and I like how they work together. The hard line on the outer corner is fine if you like that, but a bit more blending on top where it goes into the crease would definitely help.

What items are you using to apply your makeup? I'd suggest getting an eyeshadow and blending brush, it makes application 10x easier!
