Alright I'm curious: What really popular products have you tried that you think are overrated as F? For me personally the Lancome hypnose star mascara was the biggest one. I HATED it. So wet and clumpy 😲

Mac studio fix (the liquid foundation). Just tried it out a few days ago and damnnn, I've had horrible break-out's on my face after that! Plus, it looked sort of cakey!

Nars Sheer Glow foundation. It's an ok foundation but it is not "sheer" & I didn't see a "glow". Also Nars "Orgasm" blush. I'm not saying it isn't a beautiful blush shade , but it's NOT a UNIVERSAL blush shade like I hear people saying. It was too shimmery on my medium , slightly olive skin tone.

I also don't like Nars Orgasm at all, way too shimmery. Marleen, maybe try Gilda, it's matte but the color is very flattering and similar to the base of Orgasm.
Diorshow mascara was not great, way too wet, as was lancome hypnose drama.
Right now I can't think of other overhyped products...

OMG orgasm is definitely not universal. I hate when people say that about hoola by benefit as a bronzer. I'm like, "yeah okay by saying it's universal you're actually ignoring a whole group of people that can't use it. Who are the only people in your universe??" Makes me so livid!

@Breeze T. Thanks for the suggestion! I do actually like DEEP THROAT. It's like ORGASM's big sister... slightly richer in color & only a tiny of bit of shimmer (that reads in the pan but not on the face).

I've had a lot of products that didn't work out for me, and I made a new year's resolution to actually return things that don't work. Recently, off the top of my head the main one I can think of CoverFX anti-aging primer. Made my eyelids sting and was a total failure as a primer. It was really expensive. Glad I returned it. A couple things I DIDN't return last year that I wish I would have: Nudestix shadow stick. Doesn't last at all on me and I burned through the shadow stick really quickly. Color was pretty, but it cost like $6 more than MUFE Aquamatic which is a vastly better product that you don't have to sharpen. In the same vein Pixi lid last shadow stick, very stiff and difficult to blend. Rimmel Scandaleyes works the same, came in an identical color and cost $12 less! In the distant past: all the Lancome, Clinique and Aveda eye shadows with poor pigment and lousy formulas. There are just so many of them and many of them were quite expensive.

Omg Lancôme shadows are the WORST. I have a quad and threw it away. So powdery and zero color payoff
