Best hair color for me

My natural hair color is dark brown. I triend light brown, black. I want to go blonde but I don't think that'll work for me. Suggestions?

Going from a dark to light color is always shocking so of you do go blonde do it gradually also if you're afraid the lighter color won't look quite right on you, you could leave a dark shadow underneath in the back and framing your face, thats what I have to do if I go platinum :-)
