Personally I find using a felt tip liner pen is the easiest because it offers so much control and it makes it easier to draw the wing. If it's still to difficult, you can always use tape but if you do that make sure you stick it on the back of your hand first so the hold isn't so harsh on your face.

Start off small, then gradually add on. I learned by a felt tip eyeliner pen as a stencil, then filled it in with gel eyeliner.

Elf has a liner its super easy to use and I love it but honestly I forgot what its called.. probably just liner from elf or something lol.
