My Hair Color Stained My Nail Polish?

I like to let my hair air dry while going to sleep. Today I realized there was blue stripes on my nails! (it follows the nail's natural pattern) I tried to take a picture but it doesn't show up. Any other unnatural colored hair owners, have you had this?

I found that with some soap and water it usually just goes away :)

It didn't go away but I started to like how it looks, I might even try to recreate it with polish ^^

I had the same effect when I colored my hair purple! I loved how it stained all of my nails so evenly, the color turned into a beautiful, unique light purple color :)

It'll do that on any light color, and it doesn't go away till you take your nail polish off. I just started using similar colors to my hair lol. Like right now my hair is orange and pink, so my nails are coral and it hasn't stained yet. But it's because you shampoo with your finger tips, so they are right there when the pigment is being washed out, and since your nails are wet the polish is more "absorbent" and so the pigment holds on.

Also I realised it doesn't stain much when I have top coat on, do you think it would make a difference?
