Doubt this helps but there are some box dyes that come with little conditioners that you use a week after you dye your hair to protect it from your next dye and it really works plus makes my hair soooo soft😊

I agree with katelyn. Pantene is known for using a lot of silicones I think, which cover up the damage but it's still underneath the layer of silicone.
You should switch up where you put your hair tie, because if you always wear it in the same place it's going to put a lot of stress onto that particular place.
I think the hair ties that look like those retro phone wires (I don't know what the hair ties are called, but they look like the wire that used to connect the box with the dialling pad and the actual phone back in the days) and for workouts regular ties without metal.
Don't comb your hair when it's wet, cause I think due to the elasticity it is bound to break faster than when it's dry.

You could also find hair ties without that metal piece which is what really damages the hair. I like the stretchy kind (don't know exactly what they are called lol) I also use ones with grips on it which is still better than any with the metal piece and it stays in my hair (:

Well that could be one of your problems. I am a runner and if I wear my hair up tight all the time, my hair starts to feel weak at the top. I would suggest switching it up. I like to French braid my hair sometimes because it doesn't seem to damage the hair as much and it's still tight enough to keep my hair from bouncing around. Pantene isn't a great hair care product line in general. I forgot what it stands for or where it got its name, but it's not good and I would steer away from it. Also make sure you aren't washing your hair every single day because that will strip your hair of its natural oils needed to keep it healthy. I use dry shampoo in between washes.

I use Pantene anti breakage shampoo and Garnier Fructis color shield conditioner. And no not other products. I wonder if it's because of how often I keep my hair up because I'm working out all the time and I usually put it up really high and tight so it doesn't bounce around so maybe it pulls at my hair?

Don't deep condition your hair too often. Every 3 days shouldn't be too much, but maybe cut it down to once a week and see if that helps.. it could also be from other products you are using? What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Do you use heat or any other hair products?

I want to get my hair very healthy again before school starts. I haven't used heat all summer and I'm going to have to redye it at some point. What can I do to insure that it becomes to the best state my hair could be in?
I use coconut oil and a leave in conditioner before every shower which is once every 3 days. For some reason it's starting to make my hair feel weak, as I'm losing a lot more of it.

What products do you guys recommend?
Is it possible to deep condition too often?
