First off, I have very oily/combination/acne prone/sensitive skin (I hit the jackpot) and I have always had acne since I was 13. This made me quite insecure so I put makeup on to cover it.
Now, many people tell me that my ongoing acne is caused by me wearing makeup. However, I find that I get more pimples when I don't wear makeup because my face becomes too oily.
Therefore, I think that the makeup I wear helps keep oil at bay which results to less breakouts. What do you think?

Maybe your skin is so used to makeup and it's also never getting a break so when you stop it's kind of detoxing and getting rid of all the makeup in your skin. how long have you tried not wearing it for?

Your makeup also may be acting like a barrier from something in the environment that irritates your skin. I know mine breaks out if I don't wear makeup,to work, because something in the air there irritates it, but when I wear makeup my,akin is less itchy, and I get less breakouts.
