My sister is pregnant (almost 4 months) she is breaking out like crazy specially on the jaw area, she says the pimples hurt. Her doctor says it's hormonal and there is no treatment.
she uses cetapil. I told her to steam her face and to use the freeman oatmeal and charcoal face maks.
Does any one know any non chemical way to help her?
Thank you in advance. :)

She can dap tea tree oil as an anti bacterial using a cotton swab on her acne as a spot treatment. Now you can't use just any tea tree oil. The good ones I have tried that work the way it's supposed to work is by young living which is pretty homeopathic grade. (Expensive) A good affordable one that you can buy is from Fred Meyers by Jason tea tree oil. I also dab a little castor oil using a cotton swab on top of that to promote healing. I know it's hormonal but these help a ton because I break out during my monthly time of the nasties as well. Lol and these two together has helped keep it at bay.

If it's hormonal cystic type of acne then this is what I use for mine:
Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser
Witch hazel (alcohol free toner)
Tea tree oil spot treatment
Otherwise destressing usually helps - I do yoga but whatever helps her to relax will probably help - and of course a healthy diet helps (I avoid food allergens which for me are dairy products) and then just drinking lots of water and eating plenty of veggies - I'm not sure why this helps but for some reason when my diet is on point then so is my skin - and I'm sure it will only help with her being pregnant to have a healthy diet - hope that helps!

I've had some breakouts this pregnancy as well and I found that the Lush Herbalism cleanser works like a dream. I also use the mask of magnaminty from Lush once a week. Maybe have her bump up her water intake as well.
