I was quite disturbed by a fellow BL beauty who had a severe reaction to Urban Decay eye products. Showed the post to my husband who immediately said that needs to be reported to the FDA.

So I just wanted to give you all the information on where to go to report adverse reaction to products such as cosmetics, skincare, medication, tattoo ink, hair products, etc.

The information is taken from the consumer and then set aside in a database and if a trend develops with reports of adverse reactions to a particular product/brand then the FDA goes in to investigate. I don't know what percentage is needed by the FDA to start an investigation but if it's worth filing regardless.

Excellent advice. This could prevent others from suffering such reactions, both physically and emotionally. I was beside myself with shock and as a sensitive gal, appreciate as much information being out there as possible.

Does this apply only in the US? I'll check to find the equivalent in Canada!

Yes Genevieve...it only covers the US but I'm pretty sure Canada has one along with EU as well for anyone else curious.
