I was searching for a dewy highlighter and came across "make face gloss". Had any one tried this? If so what's it like?

I've used a multitasking clear gloss on my cheekbones. It gives that nice wet look but what sucks is when your hair get in it and it can make your foundation get kinda streaky and will make it transfer easily due to the fact the gloss is basically oily and loosening up the base.

I think it's better for pictures when regular powder highlighters don't show up as good due to lighting and such. The gloss type tends to look more noticeable.

I use Etude House's Nymph Aura, it's a Korean product and it's this clear glossy gel that you put on the high points of your face. I absolutely love it, it can't recommend it enough. It makes my cheekbones so dewy.

Glossing a very pretty old technique that's been around for year's and it's usually done with vaseline. You apply on the skin or eye lids and can mix pigment into the mixture then apply over the lid.If you have oily skin it can work against you. Estee lauder, Mac the list goes on with brand's that use to carry glossing product's but vaseline was the one to use to achieve the look. I know so many think vaseline is bad but little do most don't know it's used for makeup techniques like this. I still do it:)

The dewiest highlighter I've come across is the Doris Dalton H2O Glow. It's not exactly a cream. It is like a very thick "gloss" Kinda tacky. Some people complained about the tackiness and how it never dried down. I liked it. I had the original years ago. But now she has a champagne & a rose gold. And I can't decide which one I want. The original is white. A little light for my medium, olive skintone. Oily skins may not like it. But for super dry skin thats sucks the moisture out of every cream & foundation, its definitely worth having in your makeup arsenal. it's packaged in a compact btw.

I even remember one chapter of America's Next Top Model in which Tyra Banks applied Vaseline on the models faces and the photos came out stunning! It looked great for a photoshoot but I don't think is the best technic, regardless the product, for an everyday look.
