Sephora's 20% off sale is coming up and I really wanted to get an eyeshadow palette but I can't pick which one. I was trying to pick between Kat Von Ds shade and light palette and Tartes Tartelette palette. Any thoughts on which one I should get or which one may suit me better? Thank you.

I have the Kat Von D palette and I love it, specially the Monarch palette. I haven't tried any of Tartes palettes, but I have other products from Tarte and I love Tarte products. But honestly Kat Von D never fails me and the shadows go on so smoothly and are so easy to blend.

Hehe I don't think I could decide either! I feel like both are beautiful palettes that would work well together! So I say if you can afford it - get both haha ;)
If not then I think it depends on the rest of your collection - Do you already have neutral palettes like the shade'n'light? Or do you already have a a palette with plum/rose undertones like the Tartlette!

When is the 20% off. I've been on a no buy and I've been waiting. argh! Also, Kat's is my favorite as it can be nuetral or dramatic with such smoothness and rich pigment. Just wonderful.
