I'm 14 and I want to start wearing darker lipstick. I'm not sure if I start now, if it will be outrageous or not.

You can do whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you feel good wearing it, go for it!

At 14, I would ask my parents. But if they are ok with it, you should be fine to wear it. A great dark lipstick to start is a deepened red such as Mac Dubonnet or a nice darker plum like Mac diva! After that, if you like it, Mac antique velvet or film noir is nice and dark! They are 17 dollars each

Personally I feel like 14's too young so I agree with Livi, if you're dead set of wearing it out then ask your parents.
I'm 22 now and I only started wearing dark lips at 20ish? I don't really like seeing dark lipsticks on young girls as I think it's quite a mature look. But that's just my opinion.

I am 14 as well and I think it depends on your skin tone and lip shape. Personally I am very pale and have smaller lips so darker lipsticks kind of look crazy on me...but I think if you are tanner and maybe have larger lips you could pull it off... Sometimes I wear a darker tinted lip gloss (ex. Bold red or brownish purple) which I think suits me better. You could start with that then work your way into a lipstick so it's less of a jump :)
