My concealer always creases, and I'm hoping that the "baking" technique will prevent it, or at least help some. But I was wondering, is there a specific powder that would the best for this, or is it just any translucent powder? Is it better to use HD powder or not?

Well I personally wouldn't try the whole baking technique just because its very heavy, which is only going to make your concealer crease more. Now yes you can 'set' your concealer with a powder (I don't like translucent but thats just me...) but that isn't going to guarantee that it will stop creasing. So what is your skin type and what products are you using? Including primer, foundation, concealer, and powder? Also how are you applying your concealer?

I have really oily skin, and I'm trying out new products at the moment, so right now I'm using Hard Candy's green primer, maybelline fit me matte+poreless foundation, maybelline master conceal, and NYX HD banana powder. So far the concealer creases less, but it's not as full coverage as I want toe my undereyes. I'm applying the concealer with a real techniques foundation brush that's found in the core collection kit and blending it with the real techniques sponge. It creases about as much as most do and I have homecoming tomorrow so I don't to crease all over the place lol

Make sure you are prepping your skin before. This step will help tremendously. Make sure you are moisturizing and then applying a primer and allowing it to set in for a few minutes before applying your makeup. Rimmel has some pretty great primers. Apply your makeup and then lightly dust some powder to set your makeup. This should help but definitely test it out first. Personally I would just go for a different concealer and see if that helps.

Have you tried Maybellines dream Lumi concealer? I heard that's good for undereyes but I'm not sure if it's good for creasing.

Try the aspun powder , they sell it at Walmart for like 6 dollars , it's cheap but very effective , it won't make your concealer crease

I second Paulina, Coty Airspun Powder is cheap bit very effective in the baking technique. It's always what I use when baking :) You can find it in Walmart near Airbrush Legs Lotion and such :)

Here's what it looks like :) The only thing to warn you about is that since it's loose powder it goes everywhere. So when opening and closing be careful! :) Xx
