Get some staple pieces like blue jeans, white tee shirt, etc. spice those pieces up with fun jackets, blazers, statement necklaces. also invest in good pair of boots.

In my experience, nobody cares about what you wear for school. At least, they shouldn't, due to the fact that everyone should be focusing on their education. I honestly cannot remember from one day to the next what people are wearing. I always wear comfy stuff to school, I love skinny jeans, leggings, oversized ts hirts and jumpers, shirts. Shoes-wise, I live in my Dr Martens and Converse. I buy all my clothes from H&M, apart from my jeans which I buy from Forever21. Best jeans ever and the colour never fades in the wash.
I wear a lot of stuff like the clothes pictured :)
