I tried posting a question here last week but it didn't show up for me. Not sure what happened. I wanted to do a change up on my hair in the next few months. I was thinking about going red and getting it done professionally because it always comes out splotchy. I've attached a picture of my hair now. I just think it's dull. I've been growing out my natural hair color but I think I need something to pump it up and I always liked how red highlights my eyes. Any thoughts on the shade of red or if it's even a good change?

Thank you so much the both of you! :) A deep red sounds nice! I'm so excited. Everyone wants me to keep the natural but I want to do something different!

This could look good. To me it looks mahogany with some sort of auburn sort of highlights

Oo that's pretty! I tried doing that once and it came out too purple but hopefully I'll have a better experience in the salon!

I guess I want a mix of that and auburn? Anyone know how to get that out of a box color without it going too purple or dark? Like I love this color.
