Hello there, I'm searching for a contour kit! That would look good on my skin complexion! What's better? Powder or cream? What contour kit would you recommend me☺️

If it's just going to be used on yourself, a palette may be wasted due to the fact that only 1 or 2 colours will be used. I'd recommend the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder, as it is a powder truly made for the sole use of contour, as opposed to something like the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit which has a triple use of contour, eyeshadow and bronzer. Many of these "kits" are basically rebranded glorified bronzers. A true contour is a shadow (hence the use of a grey tone for contour), not a muddy brown like a bronzer

I'd have to agree, a contour kit will have a few colors and most of the time only one or two will work for you.
They do tend to just be bronzers.
I do recommend the sculpting powder from MAC in shadowy. It's a nice grey-brown and shadowy is the darkest but they have a few others. They're only the pan so you can buy a few and stick them into a palette from MAC which those are about like $8 or something so you'll have a custom palette and they have shaping powders which I assume are highlighting powders an there's a few shades too I believe

^ I disagree with those two comments. 😌
I have the ABH contour kit and I use ALL of the colors.

I use the ABH one. I like because it has a contour shade, highlight shades, bronzer, and a color I use to set my under eyes. But if you don't think you would use all the colors, I would suggest the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder. I have oily skin too, for reference. I'm not sure what works best if you have dry skin.

I have the KVD Contour kit, and I use most of the colors. Yes one is a shade for contour, and the other I use to warm up my skin. And the highlight shades are perfect! You can buy just the contour shade if you want, but for 46 dollars I get a huge palette and that's awesome.

I love the Too faced cocoa contour one! It has 4 shades- medium cocoa and dark cocoa which are both matte brown contour shades, light cocoa which is a matte white highlight, and pop of light which is a shimmery highlight. The palette is smaller than most other ones and comes with a little angled kabuki brush as well. Plus it smells super yummy! ;)
