I am thinking of covering a nasty scar with a tattoo. I got the scar from a biking accident a few years ago and I think it is time to cover it up, so I can feel comfortable without socks on.
I'm not sure about what tattoo to Get and I am therefore seeking some inspiration!
I want something simple, like a quote, symbols etc.. It doesn't have to be a meaningful tattoo though, I just want something that looks nice and covers the right amount.

I feel like you should wait until you find something that holds meaning to you, after all, it's going to be there forever. Maybe there's a hobby or something that means a lot to you and you can go based off of that. Not to mention, if you come in with kind of an idea like said hobby or something that has meaning and tell them, they can sketch a few things for you.

I agree with riff. You shouldn't get a tattoo just because you saw it on the Internet. It should be your design.
If it were me in a morbid sense of humor, I'd get a bike or something lol.

Do you read a lot of books? Harry Potter, Hunger Games, LOTR? I have some quotes from some of my favorite books that I will love forever. Try taking inspiration from them. :)

Completely agree with getting something that has a special meaning. If you do end up finding something you love, the downfall with tattoos on that area is how fast they fade due to socks and shoes always rubbing that area. I don't have one but I have two friends who have them in that area (they've only had it for like 2 years now) and it has already faded so much! Not trying to discourage you if you want it, but its just something to consider...

I agree with these ladies but I also disagree. Not every tattoo has to have a meaning to it. Its your skin and if you like it go for it. I have a cloud in my back and I just got it cause I liked it at the moment. And I don't regret it at all

Gloria - totally. It doesn't have to have meaning, but that doesn't mean you should just get a picture someone else suggested. I meant that she should pick it out, even if it's meaningless, and she just likes the design. But having someone else pick your tattoo (especially ones on the Internet who don't know you well) is basically waiting for regret.
