I have never ever done eyeshadows so I'm new to the whole thing, but I do everything else but that. I'm just too scared to be perfect. But I have decided to invest in a eyeshadow palette. I don't care about prices as long as they brand is good and I know I'm getting my money's worth. I have brown eyes so what ever colours you recommend on my eyes would be good. :D thanks. I also do plan to practise before hand to make sure this IS what I want and to have a little bit of an idea to apply eye shadow. :)

I personally think you should buy a cheaper palette first to practice on, then when you feel you are accomplished enough, buy a more expensive palette. Palettes such as W7 'In The Buff' is a dupe of the Naked palette and contains a variety of colours. It has good pigmentation and is incredibly cheap, it cost me 5 pounds. Then, you can move onto more expensive palettes. I got my W7 palette from www.thebeautystore.co.uk but you can also buy them off the verified W7 amazon shop.

Coastal Scents Revealed or Revealed 2 are both great neutral palettes that are reasonably priced too.

I Just started on eye shadows too and the first one I bought was the Lorca pro 2 and I practiced ever night and I thought it was perfect then I purchased the full exposure palate because they were all mostly nude and natural and the top row was all shimmery and fun and the bottom was matte and I fell in love

I really like wet'n'wild ones as well as profusion palettes. All are less than $5 but are actually pretty good quality eye shadows.
