Lipstick with no lead.

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering if you wouldn't mind recommend me some lipstick brand without lead. It seems like it's so hard to find. I thought motives lipsticks have no lead but it's like 9 out of 10 already have lead :((

Tarte doesn't use lead in their cosmetics along with RMS Beauty.

Unfortunately, I ran a search of 'lead free lipsticks' and most of the articles available are from 2007 and aren't up to date with what the FDA found in 2010.

100% pure brand lipsticks contain nothing but natural ingredients. I have two of their lip glaze and the texture is between a lipstick and a lipgloss, it's very moisturizing BUT it's very opaque. It leaves a stain on your lips also so you don't have to worry about patchiness throughout the day.

I think the OCC liptars are supposed to be 100% vegan so they shouldn't have lead.

Well Angela lead is actually everywhere in minuscule quantities (parts per billion) but they are below the WHO standards for lead poisoning so lipsticks may also be below this standard to be considered poisonous - so you shouldn't be afraid of lipsticks with lead - unless your doctor tells you that you are getting lead poisoning from it.
