Coconut oil!

Personally I wouldn't use coconut oil. The SPF levels are very low, especially if you're going somewhere like Florida I feel like it won't be enough. You need something higher to avoid sun damage, I've always been told to use at least factor 15. You won't go really tanned doing this but personally I feel like using fake tans and bronzers is better than skin damage from burning and what not.
I really like La Roche Posay's sun creams, I used them on holiday and they weren't sticky or anything I did get a slight tan without burning. I personally use at least factor 30 as I'm very pale.

Tanning in Florida is nothing like tanning under the sun in Illinois. You need more protection or you just might end up burned or with sun poisoning if you use Coconut Oil.
