Levis jeans are really nice as are Lees but you can get good jeans at any price point!
Look at the material composition. To get a pair of jeans that will really last and not stretch out too much look for something with less than 2% elastane.
Jeggings are different as they'll have a higher elastane content anyway and will stretch out more of course but for traditional jeans the 2% rule is a good one.

Forever21 and Levis! They're the only jeans that actually fit me and go by measurements, not sizes. H&M jeans are good but the measurements are so messed up.
