My bf just bought me the Lorac 2 Palette I don't do much eyeshadow but for winter I love the dark eye looks so I decided to try doing on myself. Btw sorry for the bad picture it was the only one I could get the lighting in my office is bad so I tried😅
First I applied the eyeshadow primer all over my lid with my index finger. Using the color "Buff" all over I used it as my base/transition color then I applied the color "Plum" which is a lovely purple I spray my Macs fix plus on my brush so it gave me more of an intense purple & into my crease I used "LT Brown" I kept blending till I seen the colors blended within each other.
For my eyebrows I use "Ebony" from abh dipbrow.
Lashes I used telescope
Love love love the lorac palette very pigmented eyeshadows, color comes on easy! But the eyeshadow primer was not so good these pictures were taken not even half thru the day & the color was coming off..I was too busy in the morning to take a good picture I'm sorry. If you guys have good eye primers please let me know!
Plum eyeshadow is a beautiful color in my opinion but to actually get it to a dark purple you have to keep building it up because the purple actually shows up pretty light & I didn't like that.
Thank you for looking😊

I have a much different opinion of the Lorac primer, it's my holy grail primer. Only use a little bit as a little goes a long way. I don't find that Plum isn't pigmented so maybe try using a different brush to get better color payoff (:
It's a bit hard to tell from the picture but it looks like you could've brought Plum up higher and put Light Brown more into the crease

Definitely not in my makeup kit, didn't work well for me what so ever. I have to disagree with that it isn't as pigmented as it seems it's actually pretty light & on the palette it's a dark purple therefore didn't like that I was using a morphee brush & I never have a problem with it :)
& again disagree I was putting the plum only on my lid before I get to my crease I don't like going any higher if I'm adding something into my crease😊

You look lovely! I think the plum color compliments your skin tone beautifully :)
I love the plum shadow myself, I use it a lot as a more daytime smokey eye! I agree that it needs a little building up to get full opacity but it's lovely if you work a bit with it :)
As for the primer - it's decent - it do make my shadows last a bit longer then with no primer but it isn't amazing!

Thank you Sabrina😘
Yes I kept having to build it up but also put in the Mac fix plus & it came out a lot darker you should try it if you ever decide to use plum again :)
Yeah I didn't like the primer much,do you use any other type of eyeshadow primer?:)

I find that if I use a flat shader brush I can build up the color without the fix + :) But if I ever need it very dark I might give it a go :)
I still haven't found an eye primer that blows my mind - I tried the original urban decay primer potion today and first impression is good, my eyeshadow stayed put even tho I got caught in a rain storm - pretty impressive!

I love that plum color, I agree, it goes well with your skin tone. I kind of like it as is, it isn't super dark so its wearable for everyday (at least in my book) lol.

Oh okay maybe I should try that but then again I use my fix plus for everything I love the product😂 but thanks for the idea Sabrina :)
Wow that's actually not bad! I was thinking of purchasing that because I've seen soon reviews on it :)

I think your makeup looks good!! Love it. I use the urban decay primer in eden and it definitely stays all day long but I don't like that it's so dry on my lids, but I should've expected that seeing it's matte. I'm thinking of trying the Mac paint pots!!

I haven't tried the lorac 2 palette, but I have the unzipped palette and I love it! I agree that the eyeshadow primer isn't holy grail, but I do like it 😊 Would you recommend the lorac 2 palette? I'm thinking about getting it! Your makeup looks pretty btw!

Thank you Dana I might also give Mac paint pots a try I heard they're good! I don't want my lids to try up so thanks for the heads up😊
