It was my birthday last friday and my friends who know me quite well got me gift cards for some high end so I splurged! Here are the goodies!
1. Hourglass Ambient holiday palette 2015
2. Charlotte Tilbury Blush in Ecstasy
3. Charlotte Tilbury lipstick Stoned Rose
4. Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow (Travel size)

Have any of you tried these products?
I love the lipstick, it's a subtle peachy nude (with MAC's Spice lipliner)on me.
The Hourglass ambient lighting powders are gorgeous too, there's a new shade in this palette - Iridescent Light (a very subtle pink highlighter). I'm usually not a fan of pink highlighters but this one is a winner!

Thank you Sabrina, Tina, Ban and Tiffany!

I used the hourglass palette for the first time today and I absolutely love it! It's the most gorgeous subtle sheen and makes my skin look way better than it actually is. I now get the whole 'lit from within' look finally! :-)

Great haul! I love hourglass powders :-) I've never tried Charlotte Tilbury makeup but that blush looks gorgeous.

Thank you Reny! :-)
I used an elf face brush for Dim light, no.7 blush brush for mood exposure blush (blush on the far left), Sigma F40 for the bronzer shade and a highlighter brush from Inglot (I forget the number, will check and update) for diffused light for my undereye area.
I went a bit cray cray with it cos it's new and lathered myself in all of it today! ;-)

Thanks Ivette and Jacqueline!
Question for you Jacqueline if you don't mind, how would you recommend using the wonder glow? I have combination skin - oily t zone, normal everywhere else. I'm all for a dewy glowing look though regardless of the oily t zone and it took me ages to be able to say that! ;-)
Also, are the Charlotte Tilbury lip liners all that they're made out to be? I didn't want to invest in one without doing my research.

Reny that's ok haha! I kinda got what you were saying in the previous post.
I am glad I didn't buy the brush now even though it was really "recommended" by the sales assistant! I've been hearing good things about the Charlotte Tilbury powder & sculpt brush though. I came across a blog that recommended it, however I personally think the 45 euro price tag is a bit steep now. Eventually, I might get one but not just yet! If you have any recommendations/suggestions, please share :-)

Reny, p.s. I'm from Kerala too! :-) Saw your chat with Ruhi in another post!

Thank you so much for that Jacqueline, I'll use it under foundation first and see how I like it.
Also, any suggestions for brushes for the Hourglass holiday palette? I want to improve my technique in using these ambient powders well too. I have been using the Dim light all over and Diffused light under the eyes. I dab a bit of the Iridescent light over my cheekbones, under the brows and on my cupids bow (I'm a bit scared to put it on my t zone!) The bronzer shade just gives a bit of warmth as it's quite close to my skin tone and so I've just been swooping it alonh my cheekbones and forehead. Would you say I'm using these powders right or should I change anything?

Jacqueline, thank you so so much! The information you've given is just great, I will definitely be getting the Bdellium brushes, they look great and so affordable too. Thank you once again for all that info! :-)
