So after having Thanksgiving dinner with my family I have to go into work at 1 am for an almost 9 hour shift (thanks Black Friday, lol) and I don't want to look like a zombie. I want to look awake and rested but I don't want to spend a lot of time putting on makeup, the more sleep I can get before I absolutely have to get up the better!

Any quick makeup tips for looking more awake and rested? I may bring some makeup with me to touch up/add a bit more during my lunch break when I'm a bit more awake so any suggestions on what I could bring as well would be greatly appreciated!

A little concealer under the eyes, white/light gold eyeshadow under the brow, on the cheekbones, on the inner corners of the eyes, and on the forehead will highlight and freshen up your face. Some mascara, a little blush and maybe a nice lippie! It'll give the impression of a well put together, awake face! I always do these when I am tired and don't want to do makeup lol :)

Thank you, Tessandra! Highlighting is definitely a great idea, my skin just looks so dull when I'm tired and I never thought to do that! (:

Focus on the eyes, a light eyeshadow application, under eye concealer to hide dark circles and mascara to open the eyes :)

Definitely a champagne shimmer shadow, mascara, white liner on lower waterline, BLUSH! and highlight. and if you're feeling it, a bright lip to distract from everything else ;)

You don't have to put a lot of makeup on! I would stick with a natural finish foundation, highlights including inner corner of the eye, brightening under eye concealer, You can skip shadow, curl those eyelashes mascara and a bright lip! I'm a tired busy mom, and this is what I do to look put together and to look fresh and awake! I also find using a peachy blush adds the brightening effect lol!

The cold spoons on the eye area! Its quick and it shocks me (therefore I wakeup faster) and it minimizes the puffyness.

When I have this kind of situation I always make a bit of time for a mask, in my case PTR rose or cucumber mask or origins charcoal mask works the best. it makes my skin loom plump. Also, I try to use a nude eyeliner on my lower waterline to create a more awake looking eye :-)

Tinted moisturizer, brightening concealer, bright cheek stain (it will look dewyer and more fresh than powder), fill in brows, put on a really pretty peachy shimmer shade, and then curl lashes and apply mascara

In the little time you have to sleep slap on a hydrating mask like the ones Aru suggested while you sleep. You'll be as glow as you can be on no sleep:) Those two are for sure okay to sleep with, I use one or the other once a week overnight:)

Or the Glamglow moisture one. That one I've slept with on too.
